Calvert Giving Fund is a 100% socially responsible donor advised fund. This ensures your client capitalizes on the positive impact of socially responsible investing in combination with strategic and informed giving.

With the Calvert Giving Fund:

  • Your clients get a low-cost, ”personal foundation” that easily simplifies the administrative process.  You and your clients have online access to change investment allocations, recommend grants, and more.
  • Your clients’ donated assets go to work immediately building healthier communities, even before they are granted out to charities because of our socially responsible platform.  Clients get the professionalism and performance of Calvert Group’s family of socially responsible mutual funds and the innovation of Calvert Foundation’s Community Investment Note.
  • With only a $5,000 minimum, the Giving Fund appeals to a wide audience, and is ideal for working with high net worth clients.
  • Clients can claim an immediate tax benefit from their contribution, but can recommend grants from the account to nonprofits on their own timetable.
  • You add value to your product mix and client relationship, and can receive Trailing Service Compensation and Giving Honorariums.  This compensation is paid by Calvert Foundation, not by your client or the charities they support.
