Support Certificates

Support Certificates are a new financial instrument under development by Calvert Foundation that will be available for sale to accredited investors. Support Certificates will entail an "equity-equivalent" investment in Calvert Foundation with the purpose of providing a layer of risk capital to support the our Calvert Community Investment (CCI) Note activity. Support Certificates will be available for three, five and seven year terms at flexible rates of return. Support certificates are another way for a foundation to make a program related investment. Through this option, your funds will support capital provided by our CCI Note investors and help us toward our goal of ending poverty through investment.
